Cast Parts makes Die Casting Aluminum Boxes. If you are looking for boxes which can provide security to the electronic components of your equipment, Cast Parts makes Die Casting Aluminum Boxes. Cast Parts is an American Jobshop Aluminum Die Casting Company that manufactures the aluminum parts used in the products of Original Equipment Manufacturers or OEM’s. The company is now 15 years old and is currently located in North Hollywood, California.

Cast Parts makes die casting aluminum boxes through the manufacturing process which requires the use of a die casting machine which will inject molten aluminum into a die cast or steel die cast mold. This process will produce the aluminum die cast parts which are used by the company in manufacturing their high quality products. Since the boxes are produced through die casting, the boxes are more durable and stable. These boxes are also competitively priced and can be used for communication devices, motors, electrical junction boxes and elbows, trucks, automobiles, and computer parts. They also produce boxes which are painted, polished, ball burnished, or assembled depending upon the need of the customers. In case the aluminum boxes or parts received by the customers are not right, Cast Parts will replace the product or parts at no additional charge.

The advantages of Die Casting Aluminum Boxes over plastic

The advantages of Die Casting Aluminum Boxes over plastic. In order for a person to get the suitable product for him, he should note The advantages of Die Casting Aluminum Boxes over plastic. Here are its advantages.

First, aluminum conducts electricity while plastic is an insulator. Though the manufacturer may use a special coating so that plastic can also conduct electricity, the result will still be inferior to the capacities of aluminum. Since plastic is an insulator, it does not ground and will require more grounding metal straps. Aluminum, on the other hand, can conduct electricity and can also be used as grounding planes for the electronic machinery inside the box. Die cast aluminum boxes also have the capacity of blocking away radio waves and frequency while plastic does not have this capacity. Aluminum boxes are also more heat resistant while plastic boxes do not work well in warm or hot scenarios. Aluminum boxes are also more stable and stronger while boxes made of plastic are less stable and weak. Because of these qualities, plastic has a low degree of permanence when compared to aluminum boxes. Die cast aluminum boxes can also protect electronic components from moisture, sudden impact, or dust while plastic is not even completely resistant to ultra-violet rays and weathering. So die cast aluminum boxes are more advantageous than plastic boxes since the former will last longer than the latter.

How are Die Casting Aluminum Boxes used?

How are Die Casting Aluminum Boxes used? How are Die Casting Aluminum Boxes used? These boxes are used for retail product packaging because they can effortlessly get grounded since aluminum can conduct electricity. These are also used as enclosures for parts which should be protected from sudden impact, dust, or moisture. These boxes are also used as a means of blocking away radio waves and frequency which may affect the capacities of the electronic components. It offers protection to the electronic components by providing RF or EMI shielding.

Aside from the said uses, a die casting aluminum box is also utilized as a “grounding plane” or as a common electrical circuit for the electrical machinery inside the box. Die casting aluminum boxes can also be used as storing equipment since they are durable enough to contain materials when one is out on a road trip. These boxes can be manufactured huge so these can be used at the back of pick up trucks. But they can also be crafted in a small size so they can be used in the home as storage for magazine and comic book collections. These can also be used as mailboxes which can survive the harsh weather for a couple of years. Die casting aluminum boxes are also used as large transportation enclosures for both equipment and animals.

Examples of Die Casting Aluminum Boxes

Examples of Die Casting Aluminum Boxes. There are many Examples of Die Casting Aluminum Boxes. There are some models which come with a plain, non painted finish while there are some which are painted semi gloss black. The gauge or thickness of the box also varies depending on where and how it is used. One example of a die cast aluminum box is the box used to protect computer parts such as disk drives from external factors like sudden shock, dust, or moisture which can affect the electronic components’ function. Another example is the box used in trucks and automobiles in the engine compartments or in the back of pick up trucks which are used in road trips as storage. One can also find an example of these boxes in the household where it may also be used as storage. The box which offers RF/EMI shielding in communication and electrical junction devices is another example of a die cast aluminum box.

The said examples of boxes are made using the A413, A383, A360 or A380 type of aluminum alloy and they also undergo the process called die casting aluminum. These boxes can even be produced in hundreds or thousands daily depending upon the size and weight of the necessary materials.

Pressure Die Casting Aluminum Aircraft Parts vs Extrusions

Pressure Die Casting Aluminum Aircraft Parts vs Extrusions. Extrusion is a procedure used to make items of a preset cross-sectional outline. A material is pressed down or drawn through a die of the wanted cross-section. Two major benefits of this procedure over the other industrialized procedures are its capability to produce extremely difficult cross-sections and toil materials which are fragile, for the reason that the material just comes across shear and compressive stresses. Also, it shapes completed parts with a brilliant exterior finish. Extrusion can be constant or semi-constant. The extrusion procedure may be completed with hot or cold material. Materials that commonly undergo extrusion are metals, foodstuffs, concretes, ceramics and polymers.

In the pressure die casting, there are four main stages. In the first stage, the mould is squirted with a lubricant and then properly sealed. After that step, molten metal is carefully injected into the die under a high pressure. After the die is fully loaded, the pressure is preserved until the casting has hardened. And then, the die is undone and the shot is cast out through the ejector pins. At the end of the process, the scrap, which consists of the runners, gates, flash and sprues, should then be parted away from the casting.
